Project StepUP is a therapeutic after-school program designed to help at-risk minority youth, grades 1-6, succeed in both their academic and personal or home lives. Project StepUP is based on the Positive Action Curriculum, which is Cognitive Behaviorally based. Students are taught various skills (emotional, social, health) which in turn lead to more positive and prosocial interactions. Project StepUP is facilitated by Masters Level Social Workers and support staff.
